Home appliance handling at the highest level 'Smart Load Control' system for damage-free handling
With the brand promise "Forever Better", Miele & Cie. KG has been producing and selling high-quality home appliances for private and commercial users since 1899. The company's various products are manufactured in a total of 15 plants. At the Unicov site, the Czech subsidiary Miele technika s.r.o. produces tumble dryers for private households and small businesses as well as entry-level dishwashers with around 2,000 employees. For internal handling there of its high-quality products, the company sought a future-proof solution that corresponds to its brand promise.

- Miele is regularly renewing its fleet of industrial trucks, including the appropriate attachments.
- KAUP in the Czech Republic was contacted in advance of the re-equipment. As part of the technical consultation, Miele technika s.r.o received an appliance clamp including a 'Smart Load Control' system (SLC) for testing in Unicov over a longer period.
- SLC is an autonomous system for flexible definition of the clamp force. It regulates the clamping force of large-area clamps depending on the load and not on the load, making it ideal for the gentle transport of household appliances.
