KAUP France expands its capacities

Sausheim, 17. October 2024 - The French subsidiary of KAUP GmbH & Co. KG (KAUP) in Sausheim, Alsace, has expanded its capacities. A second hall was built during a ten-month project and construction phase and officially opened at the beginning of October. A total of 1,000 square metres of hall space can now be used.

According to Thierry Chanel, Branch Manager of KAUP France, the aim of the expansion is to ‘further develop our business and open up new markets for the coming years’. He adds: ‘Over the last five years, we have succeeded in making KAUP France the market leader for attachments for forklift trucks in France. And we are keen to continue on this path.’ The new capacity will therefore mainly be used to store new attachments from different product families for hire or short-term delivery. ‘In this way, we are meeting the increasingly frequent request from our customers to be able to deliver standard attachments quickly,’ explains Thierry Chanel.

The new capacities are part of extensive construction and renovation measures in recent years. In addition to the new storage capacities mentioned above, sustainability was also taken into account. For example 40 solar panels have been installed. This number is to be doubled in the near future. The entire system will then have an output of 30 kW/h. ‘With these measures and the expansion, KAUP France is equipped for the future,’ says Ludovic Di Meo, Sales Manager KAUP France, who has been with the company for over 30 years.
