KAUP participates in competition exclusively in a fair manner and without any illegal collusion, and undertakes in particular to comply with antitrust law.

2. Dealing with trade secrets and intellectual property rights

We protect our trade secrets and defend our intellectual property rights, and respect legally valid intellectual property rights of third parties.

3. Cooperation with authorities

Regulatory obligations to the competent authorities must be complied with.

4. Environmental and health protection, sustainability

KAUP is committed to protecting the environment and human health. This includes the health and safety of our employees and everyone working at our sites. To this end, we operate an environmental management system in accordance with IS014001:2015 and an energy management system in accordance with ISO50001:2018. The company attaches great importance to sustainability and takes this into account in its business considerations. We make transparent in a clear and comprehensible manner how our products are to be used and what risks may be associated with their use.

5. Product safety

As a company in the field of mechanical engineering, the focus is on the manufacture and supply of safe and high-quality products. The Company expects its employees to be committed to the quality of its products. This includes, in particular, that all employees who become aware of any complaints about products immediately report them to their superiors.

6. Supply chain responsibility

Although we are not directly subject to the provisions of the Supply Chain Act, we are committed to the values and objectives of the Supply Chain Act. We respect human rights and are committed to the protection of life and health and the protection of the environment and nature, and respect the freedom to form trade unions and represent workers. We support the prohibition of slavery, forced labour and human trafficking, the prohibition of child labour and protection of children, the prohibition of torture and the prohibition of discrimination and unequal treatment.

We are in favour of the obligation to comply with occupational health and safety regulations and the minimum wage laws applicable locally.

We respect the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining.

Accordingly, we support our contractual partners to the best of our knowledge in providing them with the information they need to fulfil their supply chain responsibilities and to comply with their legal obligations under the Supply Chain Act.
